| Biography | I started being recognized for my artwork in Kindergarten, believe it or not, for a very abstract chalk drawing I did in my class. It was hung in the local Town Hall. This is when my love for art became obvious. I also had a drawing sent to an art gallery several states away when I was 12 years old. I was selected to join an art school when I was 14, and have sice limited my art preference to Oil and Acrylic painting on canvas. There's just something about being able to make that brush move the way you want it to.
I sold my first painting on the local Craigslist site for $20 to put some food on the table. There was nothing like the feeling of having a complete stranger express interest in your work. I love to paint on my free time, whenever I get the chance. Sometimes it's few and far between, but when I do get the chance it's always great to sit with a glass of red wine and my canvas : ) |
