BiographyKalypso Kampani was born in Athens, Greece. She has completed three diplomas in ''Consercation and restoration of painted surfaces'' ('Higher National Diploma', 'BA Hons Conservation & Restoration' and 'MA Conservation of Historic Objects') in Lincoln University, Lincoln, United Kingdom. Worked as a volunteer conservator in the National Gallery of Athens. In 2006 she moved to Holland where she worked as a conservator of historic interiors on various historic buildings and museums, such as the Dam Palace Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum-Amsterdam, Bonnefantenmuseum-Maastricht, Amerongen Castle, SRAL and more. In 2008 she moved back to Greece to work as a paintings restorer at the National Theater of Athens and at the Academy of Athens. She attended mosaic courses, and next to conservation she works on Byzantine and Modern mosaics manufacture. Kalypso has participated in the 2010 International AIMC Exhibition in Athens 'Antique Mosaic meets Contemporary Mosaic'.
