Biography | My final years at Massachusetts College of Art were spent conjuring patterns, shapes and movements from the regalia onto the canvas. Dedication to my subject matter has allowed me to develop an innovative series of controversial stereotype paintings, at this juncture bringing my work to new plateaus. The work is now evolving into a historical roll call of Native identity. I include both the past and present use of Native Americans as mascots and logos in advertising in society. Subsequently, integrating these images against a background of tribal patterns and shapes, recognizable images materialize. A frequent image that appears throughout my work is the Cleveland Indian Mascot that appears like a big grinning red devil. Another image represented in my work is the American Spirit Logo and design elements found within the packaging. To the mainstream, Do Native Americans only exist in Spirit? |

yes, this place seems more professional and definitly more exclusive to artists which is nice. So NYC or out west, well, my hope is for NYC for you so that we can get back on track with the show we were talking about doing, was it a year ago already? My work has changed in theme somewhat since then but I still have the majority of the other work which would go well with the theme and I can always make more.
I will start recruiting people, I have over 1000 artists on my other frields list.
