Interests and Personality

BiographyGrowing up throughout my school years was spent doodling and drawing in my notebooks much to my teachers dismay. One of my teachers suggested after graduation that I should get myself a minibus and travel. I took him up and traveled about the mid-west for many years before settling down in the late '80's. All this time I had scratched out numerous drawings and pen and inks which was to my benefit when I started my printing business and utilized my art abilities as an illustrator and designer. I recently plunged into the fine arts first with watercolors and recently with pastels which brings us up to today. You are welcome to visit my web at: www.marcusmoller.com
InterestsMy interests have dwindled down to just a few as age and physical complications have set in. I just retired from racing go-karts and golf.I enjoy touring the country side, visiting different galleries, gardening, cooking, rendevous some fishing and of course art. I have never limited myself to experiencing new things and there is a lot left to experience!
MusicListen to just about anything. NOT Polka or Rap. Favorites: Grateful Dead, Joni Mitchell, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Toni Braxton, 60's/70's rock & blues.
FilmsLike the oldies but will watch just about anything.
TelevisionI'm still catching up on a lot of old sitcoms. The Middle is destined to be a classic...what a cast.
BooksI have an extensive library but my vision in one eye is all screwed up so I don't read much anymore.
HeroesIron Man, Spidey, Fantastic Four, Dianne Keaton, Mom, and the list goes on and on and on...

Understood. I have about 4 that I need to finish. Its works out for me because if I get too sick of one, then I can put it away and pull out the other. I would like to learn to use the pastels. I have a lot of Oil Pastels. I read somewhere that back in the day, the artists used oil pastels for the faces in their portrait paintings. I would like to try that out sometime.

I have been to wetcanvas.com. Thanks. I picked up an idea from them last year and I am still working on it! haha.. Getting close to being finished.. I hope. Sick of looking at it. I also went to your personal web site. I have to tell you I love the horse coming out of the dust. Wow. So pretty.

Glad to see your art here. I will try to answer your question about 'how to buy and sell here'. Sara will have better info but. as far as I can figure: A buyer has to sign up for the site. Then you click on a painting and make an offer through private message. The artist replies to your offer. Then it seems, you both are on your own to figure out payment arrangements. I don't see any pay-pal or anything here. There are other sites that make transactions EASIER but, I haven't researched enough to recommend one. I like this site because of the black background and there are no blinking lights. A nice 'temporary personal website' plus to be able to chat with colleagues. I hope this helps, Scharkey. Do let me know if you learn more than I have. SMae
