Interests and Personality
| Biography | Born 1960, in Cambridgeshire I gained a BA Hons in Fine Art Printmaking in 1981 from West Surrey College of Art and Design. I have since worked on commissions from all over the world and have exhibited countrywide. I have my own range of greeting cards and take workshops with children which has lead to the designing of art projects for festivals and shops. |
| Interests | My work is concerned with Flowers growing naturally and the inter-relationship of plant forms in nature. Poppies, Lilies, Clematis, Anemones and Peonies figure predominately in my work, along with the close-up aspect and fine detail found in nature.
The vibrant colours of flowers have always fascinated me and I find that Watercolour is the perfect medium to capture their qualities. |

Hello AGAIN! I just posted my hand hewn Mardi Gras costume in 'Sugar Snap Mardi Gras' gallery. Now, putting thread, needles and glue gun down and back to wet brushes! Hope y'all are well! Hope Spring comes your way soon! Been a very rugged winter for you, methinks.

glad all are well. yes yes time in a spinning vortex. The Muse has me sewing a 6 piece ensemble inspired by Nellie Bly who went around the world in the 1890's in ONE outfit. Planning on a west coast tour during hurricane season this year. I also have a 10 yr old protege...we paint on Sundays and he is astoundingly GOOD. Will be painting more once I finish with all this silk...it doesn't have any paint on it YET. Glad you, your son, and Stuart are well.

Have been planting flowers like crazy at the new house I am moving to. My old family home. Very modist and affordable. Planted two clemetis and I love the snap dragons, the tall ones. Lupins do not grow here. Do they grow in Fornham? Love John
