| Biography | been drawing and painting longer than I remember - was told I started at 3. Have lived from the brush since '69 when I got out of the Army. Have spent most of my adult life traveling (and painting of course) except the last decade and a half that I have spent in Charlotte Harbor, Florida on my Pearson Vanguard (sailboat). will enter more later. charlespeck.com tells more. |

Exhibitions
December, 2008 until February, 2009 with a continuing presence in the Presseller Deli and Gallery.
Every Thursday at noon I'm in the backyard garden doing plein-aire painting and portrait sketches when asked to.
My studio is above the gallery on the second floor.
Doing another mural in the middle of downtown which will remain on public display for its duration or life as will my other 6 public murals.

Hi augustplinth. Another way of reducing the size of images of your work. If you register with meseon; http://www.meseon.net . Then upload your work onto their site and then go to my artwork ,and click on view. You will get a large image of your work. Right click on the image and Save Picture As... This will place your image back onto your computer in either Pictures or Downloads. This will reduce the image to a level where you can now upload it onto your myartprofile site. Long winded but I am on Windows7 RC and Photo shop dosen't work very well on this new operating system. I hope this helps, and good luck. Antnich

Easy way to make viewable images for here. Go to photoshop. Click on IMAGE and go to image size, there will be two numbers, highlight the larger of the two and type in 1000 then click OK. then go to FILE again top left corner and click on SAVE FOR WEB AND DEVISES. Make sure it says JPEG HIGH then click save. I would save it to your desk top so you can find it easily. L John
