Interests and Personality

BiographyWhat to say about me...I'm a victim of my muse...i read, write, and run from place to place on her whim. i've sat listening to her speak to me as if she were the only voice in the world. i've drowned myself in the touch, taste, scent, passion of words and music and art and all free forms of expression. i don't live to write, i write to keep living. *** All of my artwork can be purchased in framed or unframed photo sized prints***
InterestsReading (Horror, dark fantasy, some Sci-fi, classics), Writting (songs, plays, stories, novels, poetry all same Genre as i read. I like Japanese Animation, any music with an awesome guitar player, i enjoy visiting museums, rummaging around flea markets, and exploring new places. Im into art, and sketch, use charcoal and some paints as well as design, edit and manage my own dark fantasy and horror magazine.
MusicBlack Label Society, Nine Inch Nails, The Doors, led zepplin, and many many many many more. Far to many to name so i'll say this, i like my music dark and heavy, moody, filled with guitars that cry and scream and moan and make love to the listener. anything from the 1970s-present works as long as it fits above criteria. Heavy does not mean rushed, chaotic souless music not in my book.
FilmsLOTR, meet joe black, chocolat, edward sissorhands, benny and joon, Interview with the vampire, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Phantom of the Opera (B&;W and the new 2004 version), The hunchback of Notre Damn (1936), The Crow, Tombstone, Easy Rider, Wuthering Heights (1992), Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, A time to kill, The Color Purple and Sin City
Televisiononly as background noise.
Bookstoo many to list, mostly dark fantasy and horror, though An American Night by Jim Morrison and On the road by Jack Kerouac are among my favorites. Far, Far, too many. Poppy Z. Brite, Anne Rice, Laurell Hamilton, Norman O Brown, Jim Morrison's volumes of poetry, anything by David Gemmell, anything by Neil Gaimen, Blood and Chocolate by Klause, I love Tolken, The three books of the Kiesha'ra by Amelia atwater-Rhodes, To catch a wolf by Susan Kinard, The four books of the vampire hunter series by Barb and JC Hendee, i love the works of Jack Keruac, both Mexico City Blues and Desolation angels as well as On the Road, I have enjoyed the works of many many countless poets, Lord Byron, Shelly, Yeats, Poe, Kippling, Dylan Thomas, Robert Frost, e.e. cummings, Walt Whitman and many many other poets and writers through the years i am an avid reader and will in a good week read anywhere from 3-5 books depending on how much free time i have.
HeroesAll my heroes died before I was born, their souls danced with the hippy children of the 60's, with my own generation X in the ninties, and will dance again with my children's children in another 15 years.

Dear My friend. Happy new year !! Yoram

these are great but I can't figure out your medium...and since I can't I assume they are manipulated photos?

Great stuff, superb use of colour. Margaret, Artist at Work,

Hey Blue. Susie, one of the friends listed at your site, is ill. A get well letter would do her heart good and cheer her up a bit. We live in a world that does not apriciate art. We must care for eachother. So leave a post on her board if you have time. Put a smile on her face when she gets home from the hospital. L John TOX
