BiographyBorn San Francisco, 1969. Trained by the late Senegalese painter, Ousseynou Sarr, his paintings incorporate the experimental abstract color and modernist style of artists like David Park, Philip Guston and Mark Rothko with the mixed media glue and pigment technique learned from Sarr and that is derived from West Africa. Other contemporary influences include Chris Ofili, David Walker-Barker and Boyle Family.

Hi Corder, nice unique work, "Trip to corsica #1" is my favourite. Like your quote, in Chinese we use to say, "Sublime-Human-Earth" n we respect the existentialism. Chi Gong usually is the alternative energy pratise by Chinese. Best regards.

Hi Corder! Thany for sending your site, I enjoyed very much browsing on it!You are absolutely right many similar ideas in our artwork! I've been in Africa, Angola in 1994, and the elements of earth(terra) inspired me a lot, and the whole atmosphere:-) I decided then to paint all the elements(water-earth-fire-aer-space) Now I am just in the fire element project:-) Your mixed techniques are really impressive and all of your artwork.I like very much. best wishes dakini
