Hey Melissa,
My little violinist is a young lady from a Russian music academy. I even have her name somewhere at home but I copied her image from a book of photographs reflecting life in Russia shortly before the collapse of communism. I've always meant to try and contact her one day as it would be nice to show her the painting. Am I wrong or do the Dutch have painting in their blood - all the Dutch painters I know are so accomplished!

Hi Melissa. Enjoyed looking at your work and particularly struck by Esmeralda playing a violin. It's a similar theme to one of my paintings - Girl with a Violin. Are your portraits of real people or from your imagination?
