Interests and Personality
| Biography | A Yorkshire girl born and bred. I live and work in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire, with my family and a host of pets. Mostly self taught and favouring soft pastels, I started drawing in 2002 and haven't looked back since. I draw pet portraits and commissions alongside being a nursery nurse to keep the wolf from the door and draw animals (wild and tame), flowers, gardens and landscapes, still life etc. for pleasure. I give beginners lessons for adults and art and craft sessions for children. I believe anyone who has an interest and wants to can draw and produce beautiful art. |
| Interests | Family and friend time, walks, animals and pets, anything arty, yoga and jogging (albeit infrequent),cooking and baking, a good read |
| Music | varied. |
| Films | A good rom com always goes down well. |
| Television | I don't watch much TV, but when I do I prefer a documentary, drama or a film.
I like the comedy stuff too. |
| Books | Something light and easy to read, biographies and non fiction. |
| Heroes | My husband. Sorry if you're reaching for the bucket but he is. I think we have a lot to learn from those around us. |

Fabulous portraits.Maine coon cat and soft-pastel dust, not a good mix at the best of times.

Thanks for the comments Tracy, your work is very nice too- I find pastels quite difficult to work in and drawing animals is extremely challenging!
