| Biography | i paint on canvas, cardboard, anything i can find!
i stared out painting portraits (very abstract in style) of the writers from the beat generation like burroughs and kerouac, as well as cult figures of the psychedelic revolution such as ken kesey and timothy leary.
my more recent works include the series 'ties that bind'. this is an abstract series, working with materials found innature like barbed wire, string, ropes etc.
i normally try and experiment with media like stencils, aerosol paint, text etc.
my work has been featured in time off magazine, dont mind us magazine, and on tattu tv on local brisbane tv station briz31.
i just finished showing work at legendary brisbane establishment rics bar in the valley.
ive exhibited in several group shows also.
im currently exhibiting at graceville gallery until the end of april. |
